Tuition Tournament Offered by Absolute Poker

Absolute Poker, one of the premier online
poker rooms has announced that they will be holding a
free, special Texas Hold’em tournament on October 15,
2005, called the “Win Your Tuition” tournament. The
tournament is being held in order to provide College
students the chance to win tuition money for the 2006
spring semester at the college of their choice. In
addition, aide from the grand prize of winning tuition
for a semester, other prizes include money prizes,
internship opportunities and random tournament
giveaways.
Students who are interested in competing in this
tournament will require proof of enrolment for the 2006
spring semester, and will also need to be in good
standing with their school. Students will also need to
have access to a computer, and have until October 6,
2005 to enter the tournament.
Absolute Poker has decided to increase the hype for
their upcoming free tournament by featuring free rolls
that consist of weekend prizes and satellite
tournaments, which will begin on the 10th of October.
Only 2000 participant will be eligible to take part in
any of the individual satellite events. These
participants will be selected on a first-come
first-serve basis at random. The top 20% of the
tournament finalists from each satellite event will
qualify for the main event.
Last years winner of Absolute Poker’s spring 2005 “Win
Your Tuition” Tournament, Derek Dilberian, has said that
he is really looking forward to this years tournament,
and is extremely excited to compete again. Last year he
admits that he was skeptical about the grand prize, but
didn’t mind if the tournament was for real or not,
simply because he didn’t have to pay to play. However,
when he won, he was completely shocked and ecstatic to
learn the tournament was legitimate and just as they
promised; Absolute Poker paid his tuition in full.
