Betfair Renews Partnership with Online Casino Supplier CryptoLogic
31
October 2005
CryptoLogic, one of the leading online
casino software developers in the industry has announced
that they will be extending their contract with Betfair
until next year, June 2006. Betfair is the leading
betting exchange company, and the agreement that was
made came through WaterLogic Ltd., CryptoLogic’s
subsidiary for licensing.
The President and CEO of CryptoLogic, Lewis Rose,
recently commented that CryptoLogic has enjoyed their
partnership with Betfair, which has been mutually
profitable for both companies. Rose stated that
CryptoLogic is pleased that their successful
relationship with continue with Betfair in the upcoming
year of 2006. And it is likely that their extended
partnership will continue to prove to be beneficial for
both parties.
However, it is interesting to note that even though
Betfair has decided that they will extend their
partnership with CryptoLogic, they have every intention
of developing their own software and technology for
their main products. Nevertheless, the extended
partnership between the companies may very well expand
further to another year until January 2007.
Steve Ives, the director of Betfair Games has said that
Betfair is a technology-driven wagering organization, so
it is only natural for them to examine ways of how they
can continue to offer their customers the best and most
unique products. It has always been their goal to pursue
this aim, and Betfair is ready to carry out their goal,
even after their current contract with CryptoLogic
expires.
Betfair has been really successful within this past year
and have really seen a growing profit in their company.
Now one of the online casino industry’s fastest growing
poker rooms, there is no question that Betfair has a
bright and impressive future ahead of them.
