is one of the fastest growing online poker sites, and as
proof of their popularity they have recently announced
that they will be the proud sponsors of the 2006 Worldpx
College Shootout tournament. This unique tournament
takes place at 219 schools across America, and is
designed to showcase the poker talent that is constantly
emerging among young adults.
The players of the tournament consist of 399 winners,
who compete against one another for a chance to win one
of the prizes, all of which total to a staggering $90
thousand dollars. Some of the prizes include a spring
break trip for 2, a mini Cooper, Dell™ Computers, iPod
Nanos and scholarships. Preliminaries for the tournament
start on the 16th of January, 2006, and all those
interested in participating can register at

old, and registered in an American institution of higher
learning in order to qualify.
October 24th is when the on-site registrations begin,
and Worldpx tournament representatives will promote the
tournament across America and conduct sign-ups at 219
school campuses. Furthermore, potential qualifiers can
play poker for free, and practice their skills at the
Worldpx.net site until the preliminaries actually begin.
