London Gets Ready for a Poker Industry Showdowno
16
November 2005
It is no secret that the online poker
industry is a huge market place. In fact, it has grown
so enormous within the past few years, that it has
recently been announced that the worldwide, online poker
industry is anticipated to reach $60 billion U.S.
dollars by the end of this year from the amount online
players gamble. Due to the fact that the industry is
continuing to rapidly expand, the main leaders within
the industry have made the decision to come together so
they can discuss the future of the online gambling
industry.
The important gathering of the Poker Industry
professionals outside of the US will take place on the
5th and 6th of December at the Poker Summit Europe. It
is anticipated that a spectacular lineup of more than 40
outstanding speakers will attend including the CEO of
888.com, John Anderson, the CEO of Empire Online, Noam
Lanir, and the CEO of Ongame, Partik Selin.
This poker industry gathering has been organized by
Bullet Business, and the event will even include an
industry proker tournament that will be open to anyone
within the Poker Industry value chain.
The head of the Bullet Business divison, Mike Setters,
said that although the event which takes place at the
Summit will be a serious occasion, they also wanted to
make it enjoyable and fun as well. Setters went on to
say “The Poker space is packed with characters…everybody
talks the talk but the question we’re asking with the
Bullet Business Industry Poker Tournament is -- Can they
walk the walk!?” Only time will tell if the Poker
Industry leaders can walk the walk, so until then we’ll
just have to wait and see.
