Blackjack Strategy is the trick that can take your luck to
new heights
By Tom Harding
Blackjack Strategy is
something that you can make apart of your game, and it
all begins with your knowledge and rules of blackjack.
There are many different tips that you can also apply to
the game, but when it comes to Blackjack Strategy it is
all a matter of knowing how and when to hit, stand,
double down and split.
Blackjack Strategy for
hit
When you choose to
take a hit, this means that you want the dealer to give
you another card. Of course, if you are using
Blackjack Strategy you will know that you should only take a hit
on certain hands. For example if you have a value of 12
to 16 in your hand, take a hit because you have nothing
to lose. However, if you have what is known as a hard
17 or a higher value in your hand, do not take a hit,
because you dramatically throw away your chances of
winning.
Blackjack Strategy for
double down
When using Blackjack Strategy for doubling down, you are choosing to double
your wager, and you will receive only one additional
card. You should double down when you have a value of
5, 11, and 10. However you will want to keep in mind
that in most casinos you may not be able to make a split
after you double down.
Blackjack Strategy for
stand and split
You will want to use
the stand Blackjack Strategy - which means that you
don’t want any more cards - when you have a value of 12
and the dealer is showing 6, 5, 4, 3, and 2. As for
knowing when to split, you should always split two 8’s
and two aces. On the other hand, you will not want to
split two 10’s, as together they value in 20 which is
the second highest hand in blackjack, and the most
likely to win.
There you have it, Blackjack Strategy which can help you
improve your odds of winning the game. Best of luck,
and have fun.
