2005 World Series Of Poker will be a fascinating game to watch. Not only do we have Greg Raymer, the returning champion who walked away with over 5 million dollars last year, the biggest prize ever won in poker before, but we also have many players who want a chance to take his title away. It is going to be a game of blood--and we will all be privileged to watch! The 2005 World Series Of Poker is sure to be an excellent game for both the players and the spectators.

2005 World Series Of Poker--where will it be?

The 2005 World Series Of Poker will be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, June 3rd - July 15th. The two final days, including The Championship Event, will be held at Binion’s Horseshoe. If you want to see this exciting event in person, you had better rush to make reservations. They are going to go fast.

2005 World Series Of Poker--what are the rules?

To learn of all the rules of this game, you should go to www.harrahs.com/2004wsop/rules.html. There, you find a listing of how the game is played at this tournament. A sampling of some of these rules:

1. The $10,000 No Limit Hold'em World Championship Event will be limited to 200 tables. All other events will be limited to 100 tables. Players may register for any event by signing up for a player ID, signing the required release, and posting the required buy-in at the tournament registration desk prior to the start of the event. The tournament registration desk will be open 24 hours a day beginning April 22.

2. Must be at least 21 to participate in or watch an event.

3. Calling for the clock procedures: Once a reasonable amount of time has passed and a clock is called for, a player will be given one minute to make a decision. If action has not been taken by the time the minute is over, there will be a 10-second countdown. If a player has not acted on his hand by the time the countdown is over, the hand will be dead.

And they go on--read each carefully.
